The Slobberknockers are in the SuperBowl Playoffs!!!

A stunning, come from behind, Monday night win, vaults the Slobberknockers back into the "dance".
The Knockers also made the playoffs last year with a 6-7 record.

The Grove Rats finally made an impressive showing, taking their 49ers and spanking the Dirty Pampers, sending each to the Toilet Bowl.

The RoadKill Gang showed the Relentless Punishers who the "Master" of their domain is by scoring over 100 points for the third consecutive week and winning. The RP's again spoke too soon and fell. 

Alas for the Gang, they to are in the wrong Bowl. The Hairy Polis rounds out the "Battle to Bring Beer Bowl"

The first week of the BUBBA League playoffs produced surprises.

In the race for the coveted T-shirt, the Virginia Gentlemen advanced with the help of the Monday night action.

The Slobberknockers continued their mystical, magical season by inching past the Relentless Punishers on the last play of the game. Slobberknockers 73, Relentless Punishers 72. 

May the RP's RIP.

In the TP Bowl, Dirty Pampers and Hairy Polis "advanced" to procure the beer.

And then there were two.

The BUBBA League Super Bowl has been set.

The favorite, Who Dats, displayed their power in coasting to the big game. Virginia Gentlemen, supported by "career year" games by his two receivers and tight end, tied for the most points scored in a BUBBA League game and garned the other spot.

The DBacks were hurt by their Tampa Bay defense's meltdown, while the fairy tale season of the Slobberknockers, and bid for history, ended.

In the "Battle to Bring the Beer", the Dirty Pampers and Hairy Polis tied in regulation. 81 all. Fittingly, I suppose.

It went down to the tie breaker. Since neither designated a tiebreaker, the BUBBA League rules applied.

The curtain has come down on the BUBBA League 1999 season. 

The Who Dats, the early season favorite to win the coveted T-shirt, did not disappoint as he walloped the defending champs, 113-82.

Hail to thee, almighty Dats!!!

The Who Dats also take home the winners share of $240.10.

The runner up VA Gents takes home $102.90.

Next week, instead of the usually Division All-Star game, it will be the BUBBA League vs Relentless Punishers.
