Pre draft trades are now the norm as again activity before the draft was at an all time high.

The 2008 BUBBA League Draft was held in the new conference room at Trinity Floors.  Quite a step up from the original draft room.

Draft night began with the awarding of the coveted BUBBA League T-shirt to the three time champion, Who Dats.  Unfortunately, that was the high point for Mr. Craft in 2008.

DiamondBacks and RoadKill Gang finished first in their respected divisions to earn first round byes. 

It didn't work out for RoadKill in the second playoff week as DiamondBacks, league favorite to win his first BUBBA League T-shirt was to face off against Trinity foe, Hairy Polis, riding a end of season hot streak.

In the 2008 Super Bowl, the league darling; DiamondBacks could not overcome the cloud that has followed him in various BUBBA League Super Bowl appearances to overcome Hairy Polis. 

Hairy captured his second T-shirt while DBacks loads up for another run in 2009.

The the BUBBA League Super Bowl bracket, the Grove Rats and Hairy Polis advanced to take on the divisional champs, DiamondBacks of the Trinity and RoadKill Gang of the Masters.

In the Brady Bowl, formerly the Toilet Bowl, the hapless Virginia Gentlemen and SHOWTIME advanced to see who brings the beer in 2009.

DiamondBacks, the Trinity Division Champ's will face off against division rival, Hairy Polis for the 2008 BUBBA League Super Bowl.  The Grove Rats and RoadKill Gang could not keep up the hot hands the DBacks and HP are dealing.

In the Brady Bowl, in a shocker, SHOWTIME somehow mustered enough points to force the VA Gents to buy the beer in 2009.

Even with the whole league rooting him on, the DiamondBacks could not overcome the hot stretch that Hairy Polis was on.  Hairy won his second coveted BUBBA League Champion T-shirt while the DiamondBacks joined the other eight in the league claiming; "Wait 'till next year".
