Playoff Week Two

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 20, 2010) In the second week of the playoff's,  the Virginia Gentlemen continued their fairy tale adventure by scoring the most points to advance to the 2010 BUBBA League SuperBowl.

Virginia Gentlemen were led to their 27 point victory by a 29 point effort from Calvin Johnson, who beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 152 receiving yards. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Josh Freeman, who got by the Detroit Lions defense for 251 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 29 rushing yards.

" I'm speechless," Virginia Gentlemen coach Hank Glospie said.

SHOWTIME were led to their 2 point advance to the final game by a 22 point effort from Darren McFadden, who beat the Denver Broncos defense for 119 rushing yards in addition to 39 receiving yards. They also got help from a 19 point effort from Peyton Manning, who got by the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 229 passing yards and 2 passing TDs.

"It's tough to win in a hostile environment," SHOWTIME coach Eddie Murillo said.

Moose Knuckles were helped out in a losing cause by a 20 point effort from Steven Jackson, who snuck past the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 67 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 37 receiving yards. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Mark Sanchez, who snuck past the Pittsburgh Steelers defense for 170 passing yards in addition to 15 rushing yards.

"He always has his team ready to play," Moose Knuckles coach Tim Herbst said, vying for a back to back SuperBowl T-shirt.

Compounding the issue, Moose Knuckles could have scored 164 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Tim Herbst left key players like Rex Grossman and his corresponding 40 points on the bench.

Hairy Polis were helped out in a losing cause by a 24 point effort from Jeremy Maclin, who snuck past the New York Giants defense for 59 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. They also got help from a 19 point effort from Jason Campbell, who got by the Denver Broncos defense for 238 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 41 rushing yards.

"We lost our focus," Hairy Polis coach Robert Recker said.

Compounding the issue, Hairy Polis could have scored 122 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Robert Recker left key players like Mike Williams and his corresponding 21 points on the bench.  And not having AP for the Monday night game due to injury sealed Hairy's fate.

Coming up in the final week, Virginia Gentlemen plays SHOWTIME, where SHOWTIME are an early 10.5-point favorite.

Brady Bowl
(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 20, 2010) In the Brady Bowl final, in a intra-divisional battle, RoadKill Gang squeaked by a tough Who Dats team by a score of 109 to 99.

RoadKill Gang were led to their 10 point victory by a 47 point effort from Michael Vick, who got by the New York Giants defense for 242 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 130 rushing yards. With this performance, Vick was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 15. In addition, Vick entered the BUBBA Fantasy Football League Hall Of Fame with this performance as the 20th-ranked individual weekly player score in league history. They also got help from a 13 point effort from Danny Amendola, who snuck past the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 60 receiving yards.

"I'm speechless," RoadKill Gang coach Danny Bauer said. We know that's a lie.

Who Dats were helped out in a losing cause by a 25 point effort from Larry Fitzgerald, who beat the Carolina Panthers defense for 125 receiving yards. They also got help from a 25 point effort from Philip Rivers, who got by the San Francisco 49ers defense for 273 passing yards and 3 passing TDs.

"We didn't maintain the intensity for the entire 60 minutes," Who Dats coach Gary Craft said.  Gary promises plenty of beer for the 2011 draft.

Causing further embarrassment, Who Dats could have scored 138 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Gary Craft left key players like Eli Manning and his corresponding 30 points on the bench.
