Handscraped Divas (101) at DiamondBacks (57)
(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Oct 24, 2011) In a week 7 BUBBA Fantasy Football League showdown, Handscraped Divas embarrassed a hapless DiamondBacks team by a score of 101 to 57, extending the winning streak for Handscraped Divas to 7 games.

Handscraped Divas were led to their 44 point victory by a 40 point effort from Drew Brees, who beat the Indianapolis Colts defense for 325 passing yards and 5 passing TDs. With this performance, Brees was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 7. They also got help from a 28 point effort from Marques Colston, who got by the Indianapolis Colts defense for 98 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.

"I was just doing my job," Handscraped Divas coach Russ Marks said.

DiamondBacks were helped out in a losing cause by a 29 point effort from Matt Forte, who beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 145 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 38 receiving yards. With this performance, Forte was the number 3 ranked running back for week 7. They also got help from a 9 point effort from Matt Hasselbeck, who snuck past the Houston Texans defense for 104 passing yards and 1 passing TD.

"They wanted it more than we did," DiamondBacks coach Byron Crabb said.

This brings the record for Handscraped Divas to 7-0, and drops DiamondBacks to a record of 3-4.

Coming up in week 8, the 3-4 Da Mudbugz are at DiamondBacks, where DiamondBacks are an early 10.8-point underdog, while Handscraped Divas are at the 4-3 SHOWTIME, where SHOWTIME are an early 28.7-point underdog.

With their 157 points, Da Mudbugz is now the proud record-holder of the 12th-highest weekly point total in league history.

Da Mudbugz were led to their 37 point victory by a 53 point effort from Arian Foster, who beat the Tennessee Titans defense for 115 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 119 receiving yards. With this performance, Foster was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 7. In addition, Foster entered the BUBBA Fantasy Football League Hall Of Fame with this performance as the 8th-ranked individual weekly player score in league history. They also got help from a 34 point effort from Ben Roethlisberger, who tore apart the Arizona Cardinals defense for 361 passing yards and 3 passing TDs.

"They gave us a big scare," Da Mudbugz coach Richard Sumlin said.

Grove Rats were helped out in a losing cause by a 27 point effort from Cam Newton, who got by the Washington Redskins defense for 256 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 59 rushing yards. With this performance, Newton was the number 4 ranked quarterback for week 7. They also got help from a 26 point effort from Calvin Johnson, who beat the Atlanta Falcons defense for 115 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"They stepped up and made the plays," Grove Rats coach Randy Gattis said.

Grove Rats drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 7 out of 8 other potential opponents in week 7.

This brings the record for Da Mudbugz to 3-4, and drops Grove Rats to a record of 5-2.

"There were too many defensive lapses," Moose Knuckles coach Tim Herbst said.

"They out-muscled us," Who Dats coach Gary Craft said.

This brings the record for RoadKill Gang to 3-4, and drops Who Dats to a record of 2-5.

SHOWTIME were led to their 8 point victory by a 24 point effort from Mike Wallace, who beat the Arizona Cardinals defense for 118 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. They also got help from a 22 point effort from Mark Sanchez, who snuck past the San Diego Chargers defense for 173 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 25 rushing yards.

"I'm happy I could make a contribution," SHOWTIME coach Eddie Murillo said.

Virginia Gentlemen were helped out in a losing cause by a 31 point effort from Greg Jennings, who beat the Minnesota Vikings defense for 147 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. With this performance, Jennings was the number 1 ranked wide receiver for week 7. They also got help from a 25 point effort from Steve Smith, who beat the Washington Redskins defense for 143 receiving yards in addition to 6 rushing yards.

"They out-coached us," Virginia Gentlemen coach Hank Glospie said.

Causing further embarrassment, Virginia Gentlemen could have scored 129 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Hank Glospie left key players like DeMarco Murray and his corresponding 39 points on the bench.

SHOWTIME took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 6 out of 8 other potential opponents in week 7.

This brings the record for SHOWTIME to 4-3, and drops Virginia Gentlemen to a record of 2-5.
