With this performance, Manning was the number 4 ranked quarterback for week 14. "We played our hearts out," Da Mudbugz coach Richard Sumlin said.

Virginia Gentlemen were helped out in a losing cause by a 22 point effort from Steve Smith, who beat the Atlanta Falcons defense for 125 receiving yards. They also got help from a 19 point effort from Matthew Stafford, who got by the Minnesota Vikings defense for 227 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 4 rushing yards.

"Our defense didn't show up today," Virginia Gentlemen coach Hank Glospie said.

Da Mudbugz move on to the second round of the playoffs.

"We weren't mentally prepared," Hairy Polis coach Robert Recker said.

The DBacks move forward towards the quest of their first championship.

"They just made the big plays and we didn't," RoadKill Gang coach Danny Bauer said. "I can't blame Eddie for this season's results".
